Buddha Tara Mantra Count

Tara is a representation of the compassionate action of the Buddhas.
She is complete in all the qualities of a Buddha (compassion, wisdom, skilful means etc).
Tara is often depicted as a youthful 16 year old with Her right leg extended indicating Her readiness to aid all beings and
Her left leg drawn in, showing us She has control over all Her afflictive emotions.
Tara is known as the ‘Saviouress’. Due of the strength of Her compassionate wish to aid all beings in this world system,
Tara can liberate swiftly and comes when called upon.
Tara became enlightened in another world system where She was known as Wisdom Moon. She was very devoted to
Dharma practice and told the monks that Her strongest wish was to become enlightened as quickly as possible for all
beings. The monks told Her to pray to be born as a male as a mans body is better.
Tara proved there is no difference between male and female by attaining full enlightenment as a woman.
Tara can help with worldly wishes, however if one wishes to develop compassion and wisdom on the path to
enlightenment then Tara will be there to support you!
