Meditation is popular across religious traditions, in psychiatric, therapeutic and secular circles and in conjunction with other healing practices.

But many people are unsure
what meditation actually is, how to meditate and why.

Meditation can help anyone, but sometimes it's hard to find the right one for you. And there are so many types, for example mindfulness, vipassana, asana, tantra or zen just to name a few!

Our course aims to introduce the core meditation techniques found in Buddhism - particularly the traditions that have been practised in Tibet for centuries - in an approachable and informing way.

Run over six weeks
How To and Why Meditate is a fun, relaxed way to find the type of meditation that suits you and teaches how to incorporate meditation into your daily life.
We will instruct you on meditation techniques such as: breath awareness, calm abiding and healing meditations.

Based on the book Buddhism: Ancient Medicine for Healing Modern Minds, this course has a firm grounding in Buddhist principals, but the meditations themselves can be used by anyone!
